With the crisp fall air creeping its way in, I took a moment to reflect on the many summer events Carousel hosted to connect with our clients, partners, and community friends. June, July, and August are great times for us to host events thanks to a strong population of technologists that enjoy a round of golf (or two), horse races, and baseball games. Fun aside, we showcased much of our teams’ knowledge, strong partner relationships, and innovative technology solutions to solve some of your most pressing challenges.
Some of my favorite highlights include:
Infocomm Top Golf Customer Party in Las Vegas
Rhonda Wingate, Carousel’s VP of Visual Collaboration, joins clients at Infocomm’s post-even after-party at Top Golf.
As the largest pro-AV industry event in North America, Infocomm gathers roughly 1,000 exhibitors and 44,000+ attendees from 110 countries. Leading the night, Rhonda Wingate, our VP of Visual Collaboration, helped host a post-event and client appreciation event at Top Golf.
Travelers Championship
Nothing beats luxury seats on a golf course with your closest partners, clients, and community friends as you watch golf greats like Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, and Jordan Spieth, among others. A huge thank you to our clients who attended this amazing day at TPC Riverdale in Connecticut for networking and learning from Carousel engineers about the newest innovative solutions and services.
Sports Events: Detroit Tigers Game and MLS Soccer Match in Atlanta
Some of our clients gathered in a luxury box to take in hot summer events like a Detroit Tigers game or MLS soccer match in Atlanta. Respectively, our attendees were able to learn about evolutionary cloud and collaboration technologies while enjoying networking and all the amenities of the stadiums.
A Day at the Races: Carousel Portfolio Overview
More than 30 of our clients came to a VIP event held at the Saratoga Race Track to learn more about our capabilities in collaboration, security, networking, and carrier services. During this one-day event, Carousel solutions experts provided overviews of the newest tech and trends in each category, helping attendees best map their future tech plans.
Countless Charity Events
We’re so fortunate to have a partner ecosystem that values giving back as much as we do. Throughout the summer, we joined in on several of the initiatives led by Avaya, Cisco, and other clients to sponsor their golf events. Some of the courses included: Georgia’s Callaway Gardens, Connecticut’s TPC River Highlands, The Woodlands Club in Maine, and New Jersey’s Baltusrol Golf Club.
Carousel team members from the CT office help beautify a local veterans center.
Carousel team members also participated in several internal outings in our 27 offices across the nation, including a BBQ at our Rhode Island headquarters and a day of giving where many of our Windsor, CT team members helped tidy a nearby veterans center.
As fall ramps up, we are excited to bring even more events to different parts of the nation—next up, we host a client appreciation event at the Shelter Harbor Golf Club in scenic Charlestown, RI.
This year’s Avaya ENGAGE event in Phoenix was full of innovative goodness. Attendees were treated to an entertaining—and occasionally poignant—presentation from Magic Johnson. Not Impossible’s CEO Mick Ebeling showed us some of the promising ways technology is improving life at a very human level. We were energized by demonstrations and discussions around customer experience, AI, […]
The impressive depth of the AWS portfolio was on full display at this year’s re:Invent, with announcements of more than 70 new products and features. The list of presenters covered a vast range of expertise and disciplines. Just as stomachs feast on the endless Vegas buffets, our brains indulged in some gorging of their own […]
At Carousel, we are fortunate to be afforded many opportunities to pay it back, whether it’s through donating laptops to in-need communities, walking to raise money towards a cure, or partnering with others on a personal cause. During Cisco Connect Boston, Carousel partnered with Jake Skole, a Cisco Account Manager, to raise money for Six10 […]

Drawing more than 3,000 Avaya users, speakers, and technologists, Avaya Engage 2019 was held in the fun, funky city of Austin. The event is comprised of content and speakers from the Avaya user community to learn, network, and engage with some of the most prolific minds in the Avaya space about hot topics like artificial intelligence, […]
