NWN Carousel provides comprehensive medical plans through Blue Benefit Administrators of Massachusetts (BBA) that use the national Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO network. You can choose from three plans: HDHP with HSA, Deductible, Copay.
NWN Carousel provides dental care through Delta Dental. There is one dental plan that offers 100% coverage for preventive care, 80% coverage for basic services and 50% coverage for major services care up to $2,000 per person each year. This plan also covers orthodontics up to age 19 up to a $1,500 lifetime maximum.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
An HSA is a tax-favored savings account that you own. You can contribute money, and NWN Carousel automatically contributes as well. You can use money in your account to pay for qualified health care expenses or keep it for future expenses, even those you incur in retirement.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
• Health Care FSA – You can contribute up to $3,050 pre-tax to this account if you’re not participating in the HDHP with HSA. Use these funds to pay for eligible health care expenses. • Dependent Care FSA – Anyone with eligible childcare and daycare expenses for dependents up to age 12 can contribute up to $5,000 to this account.
NWN Carousel provides vision care through VSP, which offers affordable eye care. This includes WellVision Exams, prescription glasses, contact lenses and discounted laser eye surgery. You pay less when you use the VSP Choice network.
NWN Carousel offers both Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverages to help protect a portion of your income if you cannot work for an extended period of time due to an illness, injury or other condition.
Life and AD&D Insurance
Employees automatically receive basic life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage through Reliance Standard at no cost — generally equal to one times your basic annual earnings.
