NWN Carousel, the leading integrated cloud communications service provider, hosted its 2nd annual Hybrid Work Summit at Fisher College on December 6, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Fisher College’s Alumni Hall, Boston, MA.
This year’s event discussed challenges and solutions to protect the rights of disabled workers and caregivers to continue working from home in this post-Covid world where more companies are forcing employees back to the office. The main theme was how employers can retain talented workers by offering “flexible” accomodations.
The event Distinguished Speaker was Nancy Frates, a national ALS advocate and chair of the Pete Frates Foundation.
“Having been a caregiver to a son, Ice Bucket Challenge hero Pete Frates, I know how beneficial it was for me and my family to have the flexibility to work from home while taking care of our loved one. These are rights that need to be fought for and protected,” said Nancy Frates. “This is an important issue for all people living in the Commonwealth.”
